What is an low emission zone?

An low emission zone is a defined area in the city where certain environmental standards apply to vehicles. The goal? Cleaner air and a healthier living environment. In Amsterdam, this means that old and polluting diesel cars, motorhomes and caravans are not allowed into the city center. Read more about this on the official website of the municipality of Amsterdam.

Only camperpark in Amsterdam
outside of the low emission zone

Good to know: Camperpark Amsterdam is the only camperpark in Amsterdam located outside of the low emission zone.

Camperpark Amsterdam is strategically located just outside of the low emission zone, which means you are welcome with any type of motorhome or caravan, without having to worry about environmental restrictions. With this ideal location, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: the peace and quiet just outside the city and the bustling city center of Amsterdam at your fingertips.

For Camping Zeeburg or Camping Vliegenbos, it is mandatory (if you own a diesel vehicle) to request an exemption in advance for €11.30 before the arrival and departure date. You also risk a fine if you do not comply with the rules of the exemption.

Sanitary facilities new and clean. Small supermarket and restaurant with Dutch food and pizza. Perfect location to discover Amsterdam. Metro stop within walking distance. 20 minutes to the city. Perfect.
