What are the rates for the different accommodations?

For the most up-to-date prices, we recommend you take a look at our rates page.

How do I book a site and what is the cancellation policy?

Simply book your pitch for Camperpark Amsterdam here.

Please note: Reservations that are already paid are non-refundable in case of cancellation. We plan carefully based on availability and want to offer every guest the best possible experience.

Especially in the summer, during holidays and on public holidays, we recommend booking in time.

In our booking calendar you can see current availability per day.

I can’t make a reservation online?

If you are unable to make a reservation, it usually means there is no availability for your selected dates and type of camper.

You can check availability here.

First select your type of vehicle and then enter your arrival and departure dates. You will only see the pitches that are available at that moment.

During holidays or around public holidays, it can happen that only one type of pitch is still available or that everything is fully booked. In quieter periods, you will usually see more options. In that case, try selecting different arrival or departure dates, or choose another type of camper pitch. You will immediately see if there is availability.

During holidays and public holidays, we recommend booking in advance. Arriving without a reservation does not guarantee a spot.

Where is the metro and which line do you take to Amsterdam Central Station?

The metro is about a 5 minute walk from the park. When you leave the park, turn left, you walk past the parking area and Hotel Campanile. From here, you can see Gaasperplas station.

Take metro 53 towards “Centraal Station”, it runs every 10 minutes directly to Amsterdam Central Station in about 15 minutes.

View the walking route in Google Maps from our park to the metro station here.

There is also a bus stop right outside the park, which runs at night as well.

You can find more information here.

Reservation and cancellation

Is it necessary to book in advance?

Especially in the summer, during holidays and on public holidays, we recommend booking in time. Spots are already going fast.

You can check our availability here and easily book your spot.

Please note that paid reservations cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.

Why are some arrival dates unavailable around Easter, Ascension Day or Pentecost?

During busy public holidays we apply a minimum stay of three nights. In 2026 this applies to the following periods:

  • Easter: Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026

  • Ascension Day: Thursday 14 May to Sunday 17 May 2026

  • Pentecost: Friday 22 May to Monday 25 May 2026

Our booking system automatically takes this into account. That is why some arrival dates during these periods cannot be selected.

If you would like to stay with us during one of these periods, please select an arrival date with a minimum stay of three nights. The available options will appear in the calendar as soon as you select valid dates.

What are your cancellation policies?

At Camperpark Amsterdam, we understand that plans sometimes change. If for any reason you wish to cancel your reservation, this is possible. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for cancelled reservations that have already been paid for.

This is because every reservation is carefully considered in our planning, taking into account the availability of our facilities and the optimal experience for all our guests.

I want to reserve 2 spots next to each other. How do I do that?

Double the fun when you visit Camperpark Amsterdam together!

Simply book both camper spots separately via our website. After booking, you’ll receive a unique reservation number for each spot.

Send these reservation numbers by email to info@camperparkamsterdam.nl, and we’ll do our best to place you next to each other if possible.

Can I book for one night and what is the minimum length of stay?

During the summer period, from 1 April to 1 November, pitches with electricity can be booked from a minimum of two nights. Pitches without electricity can be booked for one night during this period.

Only during Easter, Pentecost and Ascension Day does a minimum stay of three nights apply. During these periods it is not possible to book for one or two nights.

In the winter period, from 1 November to 1 April, it is possible to book for one night. Good to know: during this period we only offer pitches with electricity.

What is the maximum length of stay at Camperpark Amsterdam?

How nice that you want to stay longer with us! The maximum stay at our motorhome park is set at 21 days per year.

Are groups of young people allowed at Camperpark Amsterdam?

Camperpark Amsterdam is aimed at guests who are looking for peace, comfort and a relaxed stay. To maintain this atmosphere, groups of young people may be refused if their stay does not fit the character of the park or could disturb the peace of other guests. This also applies if a reservation has been made in advance.

In this way, we ensure a pleasant and quiet environment for everyone on the park.

Do you offer the ACSI Discount Card?

What is an environmental zone and why does it exist in Amsterdam?

An environmental zone is an area where certain vehicles are banned to improve air quality. In Amsterdam, this zone applies to diesel vehicles, including campervans, to make the city cleaner and healthier. We are the only motorhome park in Amsterdam located outside the environmental zone. Read more about the environmental zone here.

Is Camperpark Amsterdam in the environmental zone?

Camperpark Amsterdam is the only camper park in Amsterdam outside the environmental zone. So you can stay with us without worries with any type of campervan.

Read more about the environmental zone here.

I want to enter the environmental zone, what should I do?

If you want to enter Amsterdam's environmental zone with your camper or camper van, it is important to first check whether your vehicle meets the requirements. Depending on the emission class of your vehicle and how it is registered, there are different rules.

Should you need an exemption, you can apply for one via the official website of the municipality of Amsterdam. For more information on the conditions and how to apply for exemptions, visit the website of the municipality of Amsterdam.

Facilities and services

Is there electricity available?

On our dedicated campervan pitches with electricity and on all caravan pitches, you can use 10-amp electricity supply (CCE connection, blue plug). View rates for the pitches with electricity here.

Furthermore, it is not allowed to charge electric/hybrid vehicles at our motorhome park due to an overloaded mains power network in the Netherlands. You can find an overview of other electric charging points nearby here.

Are party tents / awnings / canopies / additional tents allowed?

Setting up a party tent or an extra tent is unfortunately not allowed at our park. Closed awnings that are attached to your motorhome or caravan are only allowed from 1 April to 1 November, for which a small surcharge applies. Check our current prices on our rates page.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are always (in the summer and winter season) welcome on our site for a small supplement. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per pitch.

However, dogs must always be kept on a leash and let out outside the site. Our camper park is adjacent to the Gaasperpark, where dogs are also allowed. On the west side of the Gaasperplas, dogs are allowed to run free, and there is even a separate dog beach. View this map of the Gaasperplas where dogs are allowed to run loose (in the area marked in green).

Can I camp with a tent at Camperpark Amsterdam?

As our name suggests, we focus entirely on motorhome & caravan pitches. Therefore, from 1 September 2025, we will no longer offer tent pitches. We recommend guests with tents to check with one of the other campsites in Amsterdam that do provide such facilities.

Do you have showers and how much does it cost?

Camperpark Amsterdam offers modern sanitary facilities.

To help reduce water and energy consumption, we use shower tokens: €0.80 for a 5-minute shower.

The timer starts running as soon as you insert the token, and the water cannot be paused.

New: This winter season, from November 1 to March 31, one sanitary building will remain open. You’ll find it on the first street to the right after entering the park (Prinsengracht Street).

Shower tokens are available from the vending machine inside the sanitary building. Payment can be made by debit card (Visa or Mastercard).

What is your waste policy?

We do our best to keep the park clean and sustainable. Therefore, we use a waste separation system with underground containers at three central points on the park.

What belongs where?
Use the right container for each type of waste:

  • Residual waste: Normal household waste, in a closed KOMO bag.

  • No bulky waste, commercial waste or loose rubbish bags.

  • Plastic, cans & drink cartons: In the PD container.

  • Paper & cardboard: Only folded flat or torn into the paper container.

  • Glass: In the glass container.

Good to know: the containers are clearly marked, with detailed explanations of what is and what is not allowed in them.

What is not allowed in the containers?

  • Bulky waste, construction or demolition waste

  • Chemical waste

  • Industrial waste

These types of waste must be taken to the Recyclepunt Meerkerkdreef (address: Meerkerkdreef 31, 1106 GZ Amsterdam).

Why is separating waste important?
Proper waste separation allows raw materials to be reused, keeps the park tidy and prevents containers from filling up too quickly. Improper use leads to extra costs, which we unfortunately have to pass on to the party responsible. The collection locations are therefore monitored by cameras.

Any questions?
Feel free to ask them at reception.

Thank you for your cooperation for a clean and sustainable park!

Are you accessible for people with disabilities?

We want to keep our motorhome park accessible for everyone. That’s why we have a toilet and shower unit for guests with disabilities. You can get the key at reception with a small deposit. This facility is available only during the summer season (April 1 to October 31).
