Information about COVID-19 regulations

Protecting your and our health
At Gaasper Camping Amsterdam, we have taken various measures to protect your and our employees’ health against coronavirus infections and the spread of the virus. For this purpose, we are following the guidelines of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Dutch government. This also means that some facilities may sometimes be (temporarily) closed. In the facilities that are open, especially any sanitary facilities, we will pay extra attention to cleaning procedures and hygiene. We kindly ask you to always follow the guidelines and instructions from our staff. This will help us keep you safe and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

General measures
  • If you have a fever (running a temperature of 38oC or higher), have a cold, a cough or a sore throat, do not come to our campsite. In these cases, stay at home!
  • Make sure to always maintain a safe distance of at least 1.5 metres from each other.
  • We all like greeting other people but when you do so, please keep your distance and do not shake hands.
  • You should wash your hands regularly with soap for more than 25 seconds. For this reason, we have placed disinfection stations at several points.
  • If you need to sneeze or cough, do so on the inside of your elbow.
  • Day visitors or guests are welcome, but please consult the reception desk first. A maximum of 2 visitors are allowed per group.
Check-ins and check-outs
  • Please book your pitch in advance.
  • A maximum of 5 persons are allowed per group.
  • The special opening times for our reception desk are: daily from 9 AM to 7 PM. On Fridays, the reception will remain open until 8 PM.
  • Upon arrival, no more than 1 person per group should come to check in and out (not the entire party/group/family).
  • Please pay your purchases using your debit, credit or contactless card whenever possible.
All facilities
  • Please book your pitch in advance.

Food and drink
  • Our restaurant will remain closed until further notice. Our supermarket will be offering a takeaway pizza service, however.
Supermarket and/or shop
  • In the supermarket, the use of a shopping basket is obligatory. These shopping baskets help us make sure the supermarket does not get too crowded. It means you will be able to do your shopping in a safe and relaxed manner.
  • Once again, a maximum of one person per group will be allowed to enter the supermarket at any one time.
  • Due to possible changes in the supermarket and shops, we recommend not bringing any prams and buggies.
  • Please pay your purchases using your debit, credit or contactless card whenever possible.

If we have any doubts about your health situation, or if you fail to follow our regulations, we reserve the right to end your stay at our campsite prematurely.
Please note that these regulations are subject to change. We will always do our utmost to ensure our guests’ and employees’ health and safety.
